Description	English: Jeseugndang is a shrine built to commemorate Admiral Yi Sun-sin on Hansan Island (Hansando), North Gyeongsang province, South Korea where Admiral Yi squashed the Japanese invasive military with the turtle-shaped ship (Turtle ship) during the Imjin War. The battle is referred to as "Battle of Hansan Island" (Hansan daecheop). 한국어: 대한민국 경상남도 통영시 한산도에 위치한 제승당은 이순신 장군의 집무실이 있던 곳으로 사당으로 정비되었다. 임진왜란 중 한산도에서의 전투를 "한산대첩"이라 일컫으며 거북선과 장군의 지략으로 왜군을 격파했다.

집안이 나쁘다고 탓하지 마라. 나는 몰락한 역적의 가문에서 태어나 가난 때문에 외갓집에서 자라났다.

머리가 나쁘다 말하지 마라. 나는 첫 시험에서 낙방하고 서른 둘의 늦은 나이에 겨우 과거에 급제했다.

좋은 직위가 아니라고 불평하지 말라. 나는 14년 동안 변방 오지의 말단 수비장교로 돌았다.

윗사람의 지시라 어쩔 수 없다고 말하지 말라. 나는 불의한 직속 상관들과 불화로 몇 차례나 파면과 불이익을 받았다.

몸이 약하다고 고민하지 말라. 나는 평생 동안 고질적인 위장병과 전염병으로 고통 받았다.

죽음이 두렵다고 말하지 말라. 나는 적들이 물러가는 마지막 전투에서 스스로 죽음을 택했다.
