‘존중받고 싶은 만큼 남을 먼저 존중하라’라는 것은 가히 경영의 황금률이라 할 수 있습니다. 사람들은 물질적 혜택보다는 타인으로부터 존중받기, 다양한 업무 경험, 자기 계발 등에 의해 더 많이 동기부여됩니다. 그중에서도 타인으로부터 존중받고자 하는 욕구는 그 무엇과 비견할 수 없을 정도로 중요합니다. 따라서 진정으로 헌신과 몰입을 이끌어 내려면 가식이 아닌 마음속으로부터의 존중과 배려가 필요합니다.
“Treat others as you would like to be treated” is the golden rule in the business world. People are more motivated by respect from others, opportunities for a diverse work experience, and self-development than material benefits.
