오늘 아침에 좋은 글을 발견해서 첨부해드립니다. 어린 소년이 세상을 바라보는 긍정적인 마인드가 너무나도 마음에 들었습니다… ^^ 어느 사람이 거리의 주차장에 차를 주차하고 있었다. 그때 한 소년이 다가오더니 그것을 바라보게 되었다. 소년은 멋진 자동차에 감탄하는 눈치였다. 그 소년은 주차를 다 하고 차에서 내리는 사람에게 물었다. "아저씨, 이 차 꽤 비싸게 주고 사셨겠지요?" 그러자 그 사람은 이렇게 대답해 주었다. "아니야, 이 차는 내 형님이 나에게 주신 것이란다." 이 말을 들은 소년의 입에서는 금방 무슨말이 나올듯하였고, 자기도 그런 형님으로부터 좋은 자동차를 받았으면...이라고 말을 할 것을 기대했다. 그런데 의외로 그 소년은 다음과 같이 말을 이끌어내었다. "나도 그런 형이 되었으면 좋겠네요. 우리 집에는 절름발이 내 동생이 있는데, 그 애는 밖에 나가서 놀지를 못 해요. 나도 내 동생에게 이런 좋은 차를 사 줄수 있는 형이 되었으면 좋겠어요." 받은 글입니다.

꽃과 바람 세상을 아름답게 살려면 꽃처럼 살면 되고 세상을 편안하게 살려면 바람처럼 살면 된다. 꽃은 자신을 자랑하지도 남을 미워하지도 않고 바람은 그물에도 걸리지 않고 험 한 산도 아무 생각 없이 오른다.

사랑하는 우리 어머님 (감동편지) 저도 글 한번 써 볼까 합니다. 편하게 다 내려놓고 어딘가에 얘기하고 싶어서요. 편하게 써 볼께요.... 내 나이 11살에 아버지가 돌아가셨다. 내 아래론 여동생이 하나 있다. 전업주부였던 엄마는 그때부터 생계를 책임 지셔야 했다. 못 먹고, 못 입었던 것은 아니었지만 여유롭진 않았다. 대학졸업 후 입사 2년 만에 결혼을 하였다. 처음부터 시어머니가 좋았다. 시어머니도 처음부터 날 아주 마음에 들어 하셨다. 10년 전 결혼, 만1년 만에 친정엄마가 암선고를 받으셨다. 난 엄마 건강도 걱정이었지만, 수술비와 입원비 걱정부터 해야 했다. 남편에게 얘기했다. 남편은 걱정 말라고 내일 돈을 융통해 볼 터이니 오늘은 푹 자라고 얘기해 주었다. 다음날 친정엄마 입원을 시키려 친정에 갔지만, 엄마도 선뜻 나서질 못하셨다. 마무리 지어야 할 일이 몇 개 있으니 4일 후에 입원하자 하셨다. 집에 돌아오는 버스 안에서 하염없이 눈물이 났다. 그 때 시어머니께서 전화가 왔다. "지은아. 너 울어? 울지 말고 ..... 내일 3시간만 시간 내 다오" 다음 날, 어머니와의 약속 장소에 나갔다. 어머니가 무작정 한의원으로 날 데려가셨다. 미리 전화 예약 하셨는지 원장님께서 말씀하셨다. "간병하셔야 한다고요.." 맥 짚어보시고 몸에 좋은 약을 한 재 지어주셨다. 백화점에 데려가셨다. 솔직히 속으론 좀 답답했다. 죄송한 마음이었던 것 같다. 트레이닝 복과 간편복 4벌을 사주셨다. 선식도 사주셨다. 함께 집으로 왔다. 어머니께서 그제서야 말씀하시기 시작했다. "환자보다 간병하는 사람이 더 힘들어. 병원에만 있다고 아무렇게나 먹지 말고, 아무렇게나 입고 있지 말고.." 말씀하시며 봉투를 내미셨다. "엄마 병원비 보태써. 니가 시집온 지 얼마나 됐다고 돈이 있겠어... 그리고 이건 죽을 때까지 너랑 나랑 비밀로 하자...

“우생마사”(牛生馬死) 아주 커다란 저수지에 말과 소를 동시에 던지면 둘다 헤엄쳐서 뭍으로 나옵니다. 말이 헤엄속도가 훨씬 빨라 거의 소의 두배 속도로 땅을 밟는데 4발 달린 짐승이 무슨 헤엄을 그렇게 잘치는지 보고있으면 신기하죠. 그러데 장마기에 큰물이 지면 이야기가 달라집니다. 갑자기 몰아닥친 홍수로 강가의 덤프트럭이 물쌀에 슬려가는 그런 큰물에 소와 말을 동시에 던져보면 소는 살아나오는데 말은 익사합니다. 그 이유는 다음과 같습니다. 말은 자신이 헤엄을 잘치는데 강한 물쌀이 자신을 떠미니깐 그 물쌀을 이길려고 물을 거슬러 헤엄쳐 올라갑니다. 1미터 전진, 물쌀에 밀려 1미터 후퇴를 반복하다가 한 20분 정도 헤엄치면 제자리에 멤돌다가 나중에 치쳐서 물을 마시고 익사해 버립니다. 소는 절대로 물쌀을 위로 거슬러올라가지 않습니다. 그냥 물쌀을 등에지고 같이 떠내려가면서 저러다 죽겠다 싶지만, 10미터 떠내려가는 와중에 한 1미터 강가로. 또 10미터 떠내려 가면서 또 1미터 강가로.. 그렇게 한 2-3킬로 떠내려가다 어느새 강가의 얕은 모래받에 발이 닿고, 엉금엉금 걸어나옵니다. 신기한 일이죠. 헤엄을 두배 잘치는 말은 물쌀을 거슬러 올라가다 힘이 빠져 익사하고, 헤엄이 둔한 소는 물쌀에 편승해서 조끔식 강가로 나와 목숨을 건졌습니다. 그것이 그 유명한 우생마사; 소는 살고 말은 죽는다는 이야기입니다. 인생을 살다 보면 일이 순조롭게 잘풀릴 때도 있지만, 또 어떨때는 일이 아무리 애써도 꼬이기만 합니다. 어렵고 힘든 상황일 때는 흐름을 거슬리지 말고 소와같은 지혜를 배워야 할 것 입니다 ^^ 받은 글입니다.
