The overall structure of the work is reproduced as a part of the building and serves as a passage between the past and the future through stairs and a door. The rectangular structure of the wall and the black border of the outer shell reinforce the boundaries of the wall, giving it an independent existence, like an urban icon.

Life, Barack Obama

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek."

- Barack Obama

This quote emphasizes the importance of taking personal responsibility for creating change. It suggests that waiting for someone else to make a difference or for the perfect moment to act is not effective. Instead, it encourages us to recognize that we have the power and ability to bring about the change we desire. Essentially, it is a call to action, urging us to be proactive and take initiative in shaping our future.

Artists, Émile Zola

"The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work."

- Émile Zola

This quote emphasizes the balance between natural talent and hard work. It suggests that while an artist’s innate talent (the gift) is essential, it is not enough on its own. Without dedication, effort, and continuous practice (work), the talent cannot reach its full potential. Essentially, both the gift and the work are equally important for an artist to truly succeed and create meaningful art.

"Every artist was once an amateur."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

The quote “Every artist was once an amateur” means that everyone starts as a beginner, regardless of their current level of skill or success. It emphasizes that even the most talented and accomplished individuals began their journey with little to no experience. The quote encourages people to persevere and continue practicing, as growth and improvement come with time and effort. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to start small and make mistakes, as these are essential parts of the learning process.
