진정한 쾌활함은 가식적이지 않다. 그것은 세상의 무게나 날씨와 상관없이 현재를 경험하는 한가지 방식이다. 쾌활함은 우리 자신과 주변 사람들을 행복하게 해 준다.. 실제로 적절한 유머는 그 무엇보다 빨리 우리 스스로 자초한 불행한 기분에서 벗어나게 해 준다. 자신의 처지에 거리를 두고 볼때 문제점을 축소하지 않고 넘어설수 있다. 우리 자신을 고통과 분리해서 보고, 느끼고, 이해한다. 부정하는 것이 아니라 인정하고 극복한다.

누구에게나 자신만 아는 아픔과 고통 그리고 상처가 있습니다. 잘 극복하고 이겨내고 단단해지는가 싶었는데 어느새 튀어나와 일상속에서 아프게 할때는 그 문제만 보여서 아무것도 하기가 싫어집니다. 잠시 멈춰 그냥 자신을 보고 쉽게 좀더 자주 따뜻하게 웃어주는것이 필요합니다. 그런 거리두기, 유머를 담아 거리를 두어 바라보기가 오히려 과잉대응하며 분석할때보다 해결책이 더 빨리 보입니다.

문제가 아무리 커도 생기있고 쾌활하게 내 자신을 바라보며 또 상대방을 편안하게 할수 있는 유머.. 그런 행복한 큰 웃음을 항상 연습해야겠습니다
