Sundries: 지리산의 칡꽃차
어느 해 여름 지리산 문학모임에 갔을 때의 일입니다.
점심식사 후 딱히 마실 차가 없어 입이 심심하던 차에 버들치 시인으로 알려진 박남준 시인이 끓는 물을 종이컵에 붓고는 주변의 칡넝쿨 속에서 칡꽃을 손으로 훑어 컵 속에 띄워 내게 건네주는 것이었습니다. 꽃에서 우러나는 연보랏빛의 칡꽃차를 마시자 가슴이 다 환해졌습니다.
생각을 바꾸면 깊은 산중에서도 근사한 차를 마실 수도 있는데 우리는 너무 많은 고정관념에 사로잡혀 삽니다. 발상의 전환, 열린 생각이 세상을 바꾸고 행복한 삶을 가져다 줍니다.
칡꽃은 비가잦은 장마철에 피어 눅눅해진 우리의마음을 환하게 밝히는 꽃입니다. 넝쿨 속에 숨어 피어 찬찬히살피지 않으면 쉽게 눈에 띄지 않지만 자세히 보면 참 예쁜 꽃입니다.
